Default a good tire for a ep3

I was going to do a azenis 205/55/15 but according to the tire calculato to get to the correct size i would have to go with 225/55/15 and i do not know which tires would be good for this size.
Anyone have any advice.

The Azenis only come in 205/50/15, which is much smaller than the stock wheel.

2 alternatives are the Kuhmo Ecsta Mx which is just about like Azenis, but a little more comfortable, and the Yokohama AV-ES-100s which are more of an all-purpose tire, but still way better than stock.

Both of those come in a good variety of sizes for 15.

Heres the mother list of 15" tires: http://www.cristhomas.com/cars/tires.html

the azenis will only be about 5% different........so when u read 50 mph on ur speedo, ur actually going 47.5, so its not toooooo bad imo...

if you still dont want them, next one up for performance is the ecsta supras... closest thing to azenis, but almost all auto-xer's i've talked to said azenis were better, but some prefer the supras anyways.

the azenis' optimal performance temp is a lot lower than the ecstas, but the azenis grip better as long as it doesnt get too hot and get all greasy...but the thing w/ the ecstas is that they last longer.

The Ecsta 712 is no much for the Azenis. I cannot believe anybody would rank it up against it.

Edit: Oops!!! "its no MATCH"

really? ... 712 = supras right?

i know azenis is the way to go for grip, but seems like the supras are the #2 choice.
.... well i dont think its too bad considering it doesn't wear as fast, but i'd still take the azenis any day

everythinhg ep_hatch was saying applies to the Kumho Ecsta MX, not the Supras.

The Supras are more along the lines of Yokohama AV-ES 100s.
