dude same here with my integra the freaking back up fuse. does your clock work my clock doesnt work. im a dumbass i put in a 20amp fuse just to c wut would happen hopefully and it still blew. did you check your codes i checked mine it said tdc inside distributor it also sometimes gave other distributor codes like the other sensors. Also does your car take long to start.??? hopefully this doesnt sound too stupid but I think it mite be the engine grounds... check your codes.

alright, its not the main relay cause... 1) fuel still goes 2) spark is fine 3) with the main relay OUT, car OFF, fuse still blows... must be a short somewhere....

does this mean anywhere on the harness? or just that single wire?

CEL stays on also, when i'm looking for codes and when i try to start it normally

that fuse is back-up for the ecu.. if i ran a constant wire, it might blow it...

If you have a CEL and no code showing then you have a wiring or ECU problem if that fuse keeps blowing. Try to replace it with the same kind of ECU and try .. have you messed with your wiring at all? like install a VAFC or anything?

hmm this is a shot in the dark, but if your alternator is generating too much current it could blow a fuse. that's what happened to me with my last car (pos). the fuse for the cooling fan kept blowing because my alternator was outdoing itself.

pull the clock connector off the back of the clock you might have a shorted clock cause a fuse blowing problem. what you do is find the electrical diagram of that circuit. then start pulling of any devices that if link to that fuse. i suggest tring the clock. i work at a dealer as a mechanic i've seen this happen plenty.

You can always bridge the fuse gap, but it may set fire to something if there's a short circuit .

yes please, someone explain.. it supposedly provides constant power to the ecu when the key is out... so the white/blue wire goes from the ecu to the fuse to the.... main relay? input needed please

nope, still not done.. i got a beater car i can use, so on saturday i'll be working at it.. i'm going to the junkyard to pick up another main relay, along with a VTEC solenoid and wire harness... my plan is to just remove the old harness and inspect every inch of it for anything unusual.... i'll plug it back in clean and dry, with hopes that she'll start fine
