JRSCed b18C1 and ITR LSD tranny all fit into a 89 CRX HF?
I'm considering buying a 89 CRX HF as a beater with the eventual plan of swapping what I've got in my 94 GSR into the CRX. Could I swap the GSR engine w/ the JRSC and ITR tranny into the CRX?
Will I be able to use my ACT stage II racing clutch? What about the GSR axles???
knowing that I will have both of these cars, with everything in them, what will I need to do the swap-- if it is even possible?
Thanks in Advance,
Zack

It would depend on the mount kit used as to whether or not the JRSC would fit without any issues. I know with HASport mounts the JRSC will fit since it places the motor closer to the front. Since you plan to use an ITR tranny which is hydro, I would get the new HASport EF hydro mount kit and that will take care of getting it all bolted in properly.

Actually the placeracing mounts place the motor further forward then the hasport mounts. The JRSC does fit with the hasport mounts, but it is an easier fit and less modification with the placeracing mounts.

Funny thing that I own a 91 CRX DX with 96 B18B1/92 YS1 GSR tranny using HASport billet EF mounts and I used to have a JRSC on it. It was a tight fit but nevertheless it was there for a while.

thanks for all the input, guys. How much do you guys figure this swap would cost me to do on my own, knowing what I already have. And how much do you think it would cost to have someone do the swap for me. Thanks again
