Default Help... Stupid antenna is busted.

Is there another way to get the antenna nut off without buying the antenna wrench that is outlined in the helms? My antenna has decided to refuse to retract but I can still hear the motor running so I'm guessing something is screwed with the antenna mast.

Mine came off quite easily with a pair of scissors. I opened the scissors and slid the two sides of the scissors into opposite sides of the funky looking nut and just screwed it off.

Thanks for the replies, gonna try getting it off with scissors/screwdriver this weekend and see if I can figure out what the hell went wrong. Probably not gonna shave it since I like to listen to the radio.
