Will N1 catback work when lowered with tie bar in summer then raised in winter?
Since I have lowered the car and strapped on an aftermarket muffler, the piping from the axleback is banging against the LCA making the car all but a pleasure to drive. I am really liking the things I have heard about the N1 and the it's fitment being angled.
In the future I plan on getting a tie-bar etc.. for the car I also need to, in the winters, raise the car for the snow.
Will the N1 give me no probs lowered with a tie bar? AND no problems raised up with the tie bar?
TIA

I think I could get it custom bent to hang below that but it may be too low. I just hate this banging noise, need something that works.
Anybody tried a side exhaust (small tip) by the rear quarter?

Only the ones like the Buddy Club. (Spec I? Can't remember which.) Other angled N1s such as the A'PEXi N1 and 5Zigen Fireball use the OEM path but then just have the muffler jut out at an angle under the bumper.

Isn't the OEM path over the LCA? I have not seen an N1 over the LCA all have went under or to the side of the LCA if custom??
I have not tried bending exhaust hangers I did try new runnber mounts though = no good. The problem is that when I try to make the part by the LCA higher to avoid contact it ends up making the muffler section higher. The muffler is damn near resting on the rear bumper as it is.

I have a tie bar and an APEX'i N1, and the tie bar doesn't affect clearance when raised or lowered. The N1 does not follow the OEM path. Instead of going over the LCA, it goes under and then has to angle up to hit the stock exhaust hangers for the muffler. Here is a pic of the clearance on mine:

My bad. I didn't realize you had a hatch. Yeah, then the OEM path is over the LCA. For coupes/sedans, though, the A'PEXi N1 goes over the LCA just like the stock exhaust piping.

Do you ever get any banging from the exhaust on some suspension part underneath? What about clearing the ground? You scrap often?
