Sound like a motor mount problem?
Ever since I bought my 90 CRX (2 yrs ago) I have noticed that when you accelerate from a stop quickly or snap the throttle shut the car rocks forward and back, and in turn bouncing the revs around a little as it slows or speeds up. Its not horrible but is probably worse than it should be. Recently it occured to me that it may be the motor mounts; does that sound like it to anyone else? If I do replace them I will get some polyurathane inserts also. I'll have to climb under my car later this week to be sure but just wanted to check with everyone here.
Check the front mount that attaches to the front crossmember... I had a bolt fall outta there once and the whole motor moved back and forth. Also, get some Polyurethane Goo and do your mounts up. Do a search for Keithv's post.
it sounds like the front tie rod bushings to me..try to get the es master bushing set for your crx if you can or just try replacing some important bushings..motor mount bushings will stiffen some things up,but it also adds some vibration..good luck
