thats exactly what i did man...

it ended up costing 300 bucks to tow my car 500 miles... if i had it to do over again i'd rent a smaller truck to save a bit of money but it was worth it. Uhaul rents pickup trucks and trailers that you can put the entire car on for pretty cheap... check out their website...

also, from what i remember, i couldn't find the pickup truck's on their website so you might have to call a local uhaul and find out for sure. GL

I've had my 93 CX towed a few times.

1st - Snapped timing belt, $50, 20-25 miles (no paper work )

2nd - Snapped water pump, $94, 30-35 miles

3rd - Seized tranny, $125, 35-40 miles

Hook ups run $40-$50, then mileage runs $2-$4 per mile.

I'd recommend getting a friend w/ a big truck and renting a tow dolly for your car.

If you get AAA's premium membership, you get unlimited mileage on towing. I'm not sure how many times you can do it, but you don't pay extra after 5 miles like you normally would. From the numbers being tossed around on here, that would be your most economical choice at well under $100 for a full year.

For the AAA premium membership you have to be a memebr for over 2 years.

rent a trailer from uhaul and push that beesh onto the trailer. I did it for my EG2 when my axle snapped. But you have to have a truck that can tow it... Total cost to me was under $50
