I have a 89 civic with a 1.5. I am waiting to get my motor for my swap...but it is going to be about 6 months. In the mean time what can i do to get a little more HP? Can i bolt on a Si manifold?Intake? I want to make a little more HP for a cheap buck until i get my motor. Thanks

no real point of make some more hp if your getting your swap done in 6 months just put that money towards something on the new motor. in my opinion.

 

Well if you can find all the parts for the MPFI conversion for relatively cheap, then got ahead and do that. Since you'll be swapping in the future, you'll need to have your harness wired for MPFI anyway. At least you can have a little more power while you wait.

 

yea i already asked the same qustion awhile back, the mpfi swap,si cam,header,and full exuast would be the best bet.
