could be leaky vacum lines as well.
bubbles in the coolant
a bad fast idle valve.

fast idle valve, maybe, make sure your idle is set high enough that it should idle at a proper rpm....also check the voltage on the tps and make sure you are running the proper numbers...i believe it's .45 volts and 4.5 volts...make sure none of your fuses are blown etc etc...

how do i go about getting bubbles out of the coolant.......if that keeps it from idoling, then thats probably it..because for a while it didn't have any coolant in it at all....and i just poored some in.

Rockey, do this first... disconnect your vacuum supply hose. to the egr...block it. now start your engine if it idles fine and got a check engine light code 41 heater element. then what you have to do is change pins A6 to A11 and A11 to A6 this will solve your problem. here's the run down (94-95 ACCORDS Pin A11 O2 sensor heater ground output. A6 EGR control solenoid ground output.) 90-93 Accords and 92-95 preludes are the oposite of this. so thats why your engine won't idle. the heater ground is energizing your egr solenoid, and when this happens the valve opens and vacuum is applied to the egr. if you raise the rpm above 2000 rpm and hold it steady it runs fine but will shut down at idle.......

do you think this will solve the problem of my vtec not working as well? i cleaned out the solenoid, but still nothing. does it need to be replaced or do you think switching those pins will solve that problem too?

is your vtec wired up right? usually the code means the ecu cannot see your vtec solenoid or pressure switch.

and the a6/a11 haved nothing to do with vtec...

a6 in the accord is for EGR valve and A11 is the primary O2 sensor heater control, so you may have it wires wrong at the ECU.

No ****... his original post didn't mention anything about VTEC his concern was that the engine wont Idle. I encountered this problem when I did an swap on an Accord EX 94-95 models. so yes Rocky do this first then once your engine idles good proceed with the vtec problem.

i already have the egr blocked and a6/a11 switched.........it was fine for about a month after we did the swap.....i tryed just adjusting the idol, but if i stop at a light or something, it will go back and forth between 2 and 3k rmps, then eventually it drops to about 1.5....but i think that is too high, but it i take it any lower it dies......
