downhill towards turn 8 no lift and I find myself in the grass off to driver's left. Dirt, grass, hay and straw all over the place.

I miss the track!

Tyson have you ever run clockwise? The only thing that really takes major adjustment is turn 5. There are no visual reference markers. I had to try and spot the top of inside curb marker. That was the only thing that took me by surprise.

no i havent. if hunpin has an issue with me being an instructor without previous experience in that configuration, ill have no problem not participating. but i do realize the difference in perspective of each turn, just like learning a new track. i dont see it as a problem tho.

Now imagining that and T1 backwards gives me the shakes.

Yeah, blow T1 @ track out & you have what....the pit wall.

Too bad it isn't running counterclockwise. It would have been a good op to run in the new engine. I want to run it in the 25 Hour configuration.

He wil not have a problem, you are a well accomplished racer and driver. Just ask for a low speed recon lap or two.

Naah. Everyone on the team is pretty experienced including the crew/fuel guys. Derek & I are the rookies & we did the whole enduro season last year. We will just have to put in a solid day of practice on Friday 12/5. The car will be sorted already. We will just need to practice driver exchanges.

Damn, I want to go so bad. Thunderhill clockwise, that sounds like to much fun. I'll never get the day off.. and i'm not sure my motor would last until then...

I'm already getting the shakes from track withdrawal

Thunderhill CW is great especially the T12-T10 esses! That's where autox experience comes into play since you're hard on the brakes, heel-toe shifting through 2 gears, and getting the steering wheel cranked around in a matter of seconds.

2-1 and 8-7-6 are especially fun for me.
