Default Which all motor engine is the best?

Im gonna do a all motor project in a DA integra and I was wondering what engine would be best. I want to run in the high 13's on street tires. I have about 6500 to spend on the engine, parts and labor. What setup would be the best? The B18c1, C5, or a B20 VTEC. Reliability and daily driven as close as possible please.

if your going to build the motor. then do it once, and do it right. i would go with a B20/VTEC with aftermarket rods/pistons. use a 92-93 GSR tranny (YS1, same gearing as an ITR). go with some skunk2 cams and build the head. 200whp should be no prob and 13's will be easily achieved.

you could also swap an H22a in, do basic bolts ons and run 13's aswell

Cool good to know. The H22a in a DA is alot of work I heard so ill pass on that. How much is a b20 vtec set up running for? I know the b18c1 complete swap is about 3000 but what about the b20 vtec?

I'd have to say B20VTEC. Althought, if I was really serious, I'd get a 2L Dart block, get a B16 head, and go from there. Probably would base the engine around JUN 3's.

High 13's and reliability? You CANNOT go wrong with the c5. If you have an RS than a GSR with bolt on's, a computer and tunining shouldn't be too far away from HIGH 13's. Unless you've been saving your lunch money since 1st grade you will not have a reliable 2 liter. Just my $.02

Crap didn't read that you had $6500 - GET THE ITR!

if u dont have major cash..i would get a gsr swap...then build it slowly...if u want to keep everything stock go for the ITR swap..IMO gst is gonna b better if u buid it...or if u got major cash go with the b20vtec..and use the gsr head
