I've been running Denso Iridiums for some time now and they run beautifully, never the slightest hint of a problem. I'm not sure if they are the 5303 or the 5304 plugs though, a friend got them for me and said they should work, and they have.

I've used IK24 (this is 1 step colder than stock) or IK22 which is basically the same heat range as stock.

Here's a sidenote on this issue ... I saw on Ebay that Denso Iridiums cost TWICE what NGK Iridiums cost. Does anyone know why this is ?? I am needing a set of new plugs for my ITR very soon and even though a lot of people swear by OEM plugs, I'd like to know if Iridiums are worth the try...

My personal experience: I popped one of 'em at the track during hard practice. I went back to the good ol' stock NGKs and not problems after that.

Well, after I spent that money I spected a lil more reliability. Although, you can feel a little improvement in the throttle response when they're brand new.

Note: These are only butt dyno assumptions...

Ok ... I'm going to give these Iridiums a shot and see how they work ... I have a doubt though... If you look on http://densoiridiumpower.com/findmypart.php

you'll see that the recommended plug for 2001 ITR is the IK20 ... you guys are using K22 and k24 ?? what's the deal ?? I am running stock engine with a Sponn 2-ply gasket and bolt-ons (4-1 header, intake, pulleys, sprockets, etc.)
