wiring woes on EK hybrid swap
I hope someone here can help me, I am having major problems getting my car running right, with the new swap in. I have 4 engine codes, 20, 22, 41, and 65. I have both 02 sensors connected, and even though I dont have a cat, I never had any problems with that in my integra, and its basically the same setup. the one that baffles me, is the 20 code, which is electric load sensor, what the hell is that? I have looked it up in my chilton book, and I cant seem to figure out what is causing that one. I think I have the 22 code figured out, it is the vtec oil pressure switch, and that should be easy to fix. The main trouble I am having is that the motor has no power, and the rev limiter kicks in waaay early. I am getting pissed off about the whole deal, and I need help. can anyone shed some light on this?
oh btw, I am putting in a 1998 b18c5, supercharged, and my civic is a 1996 cx.

With all those error codes.....espically having a code for the VTEC selonoid, and both O2 sensors has put the engine in safe mode. Most likely timing is being cut out, and you will experience an early revlimit.....I wouldn't rev it much until you get things figured out anyway.
Did you have to rewire any of your O2 sensors? It is strange cuz code 41 and 65 are both for the O2 sensor heater circuit....do you have any blown fuses? Did you ground the engine properly? From the tranny and head? It could be the 2 O2 sensor heaters use a common ground or powersource...so if a fuse is blown or a ground isn't connected this could account for the codes 41 and 65. Now if you rewired any of this it could be a very differnt story.
Code 20 is the ELD...a USA only circuit!
I am not sure how to fix that one.....did you double check the ECU pins? Are they all right? My helms manual says the ELD could be caused by a wiring problem, or a faulty ECU.
Code 22 should be cake.
Have you tried using you stock ECU on there....it will run the engine just don't drive crazy with it....see what error codes you get then.
I was driving around with code 1, and 91 for about 2 months. I finally solved the code 1, but until I get a civic OBD1 ECU I am going to be stuck with code 1....my Hx doesn't have a fuel pressure sensor. DOH!'
Oh, if you have a 96-98 Ex harness it will work perfect....I have one, and paid 160 for it, but I am not selling it....saving it for when I will need it.
Let us know what happens. If you need more help let me know. I was in your situation and it sucks! (but I didn't have it so bad)

you will get that ELD CODE when u get more than 3 check engine codes....start to clear em out and you should lose that code..i ran a bad ecu that gave me 5 codes and the ELD was one of em....i cleared em out and it went away...i even went to acura and talked to the techs there and no one has ever heard of having to replace that fuse....
