Default Changing horns on the caR, what do you think?

I have been driving a 2003 3.2 TL (loaner car from the dealer) since Friday and the horn is really nice, I wonder what it would take to put in the horn my R. Can this be done for a reasonable amount of money?

What about mouting and labor- I would be DIY but can it be done, or is there a major difference?

Guess in NYC you get to use the horn quite a bit eh, Rob?

Actually, Id say if you were gonna mess with it at all, go ahead and slap some air horns in there and really give the pedestrians/taxi drivers/etc a scare.

I just took the horn out. I have absolutely no use for it and I take out anything I have absolutely no use for (radios, rear wipers, back seats, you get the point).

Walk up to the parts counter, ask for TL horns. Unplug, replug. Done

I put one Fiamm horn in the Pig, keeping one stock horn. Sounds odd enough to get attention. Air horns = even better upgrade

very very likely an easy 20 minute swap for the horns, and yes they may be plug n play.

you might be bale to get in there to access the horn only by removing the front under-the-bumper-skidplate lookin' thingy, the "splash shield" maybe?

Ferrari owners replace their stock horns with Hella air horns when they fail, because they sound identical.

I suggest the 85105 kit of two Hella horns for $30.75 from Susquehanna Motorsports. Great price, great service.

Very easy!!!
OR You may check out some old post by me, maybe you can find back the old post about it.

Does anyone have a sound clip of the SuperTones? I've heard from some people that they are really loud and others say they are like a stock GM horn (not that loud but are still quite loud) uh... you get the point.
