Default quarter mile times vs. transmission ratio

Car in question -- 90 crx
motor--------------B18c1 with 84 mm 12:1 arias
jun 3 cams with worked gsr head
68 mm throttle body.(204 hp and 145 tq to the wheels)
The trans right now is jap spec integra (ysi with lsd,and 4.26 final drive)
If we install the guts of a 2001 type r trans into the housing, what would times be like.
Car has run a best of 12.84@107 and 22-8-15 m/t slick
I know for a fact it will change, but would like personal experiences please

how is it possible to have a jdm YS1 with a 4.266 Fd? only the US YS1's had a 4.266 final drive. in japan and europe integra XSI's had a B16 with a 4.400 YS1.

I posted on HONDA-TECH to get some positive feedbach on a gear swap. All im getting
are retarded responses.Yes we have swapped hydrolic internals into 92-93 cable transmissions before,BUT HAVE NEVER TRIED BACk TO BACk runs on those cars. And im sorry to spoil your trans spec sheet but the trans sticker is YS1,it is 92-93,and it has lsd,so you tell me what the **** it is.Do you think that your list shows you all that was available?
Anyways ,please only post here if you have some news about the thread i asked about if not ,keep your coments to yourself.

stop crying you baby.. i never said it wasnt a 92-93 YS1.. i said how does it have a 4.266 fd? count the teeth and proove me wrong.

ur original question.. was wat would your times be with ITR gears.. nobody can tell you that u will be faster or slower. since you have done it before, and u know it can be done, then do it again and go test it. not so hard!

I have done 98 spec R vs 00 JDM R trans, virtually the same, except first gear, but first I'd like to know how you came by an JDM LSD 4.26 final drive equiped YS1.

(edited to read properly )

Downey please stay off my thread ,as you seem to be quite the *******!
I live in montreal and there are quite a few jap suppliers, they are all afganistan???
They usually sell for about 800.00 can. dollars(cable lsd trannies). You have to open them, and see whats bad.The 90-91 tranies have gears that i cant seem to find here, but all other parts i can find.92-93 models cant seem to find the fifth gear on the mainshaft.
If someone has info,it would be helpfull.
Once we try the 4.40 type r trans ,ill post the results
We have one 90-91 cable trans with lsd here, that has not been opened,if anyone
is interested please e-mail rob@autolaminar.com thanx

I think that you're missing the point here, if indeed you have a JDM YS1, switching to a 4.4 type R tranny will have almost no effect on your 1/4 mile times. They both have the same final drive ratios, PERIOD. If you have a USDM YS1, it is possible to have a 4.2 final and poor gear ratios.

Mabey im not being clear,we rebuilt this trans and it is jap spec.We got all the parts except for the fifth gear on the mainshaft. It could not be matched, the dealer sent me 3 different gears and non fit.It is a 4.26 final drive I counted it. it had 64 teeth on the ring gear and 15 on the countershaft
