My father in-law has convinced me to turbo my 94 Accord LX. I have the 2.2 nonVtech engine. I want more power but want to keep reliability, it is a daily driver. What do you fellas suggest, or who should I contact?

 

i suggest going w/ either a greddy kit or a drag generation 3 kit. the greddy is more simple w/ internal wastegate,comes w/ own ecu, etc. but makes less power, but i heard its good for a daily driver. i have the drag 3 and it makes crazy power,but a lil more complicated cuz u have to tune it (which i havent gotten around to yet) , i suggest going with a drag 3..the power gains are awesome and u can crank up the boost later on.

 

greddy only makes turbo kits for the accors/oddysey in japan, so a drag or f-max kit, or you could custom your own, other than an oil cooler and some fuel mods thats pretty much about it

 

drag or fmax. drag is way outdated though. they may be coming out with a new manifold design for the prelude and accord but who knows.

custom is always good too.

 

I'm new to all this, what do you mean when you say I'll have to tune it, and what actual parts do I have to get to bolt a turbo on?

 

What do you mean when you say custom? Where do I go to get ahold of all of these parts? Has anyone ever heard of Turbonetics?

LMAO! minus the turbo i did not even recognize the engine bay, mine looks nothing like that, no a/c etc, relocated battery, removed unnecessary weight adding components and etc, like wtf are those two cables on the tb, oh thats the cruise control
