Legal help costs money, depending on what you paid it' probably not worth it, which the person that cheated you is probably banking on.

actually it is a good thing that you used a cashiers check. because the bank can tell you if it was cashed or not. Can you get into caontact with jdmpower.net?

1. go to the bank and ask them about wether the check had been cashed or not.
2. if the check has been cashed, try to get in touch with them. ( i called the toll free number 1-888-JDM-PARTS) it was disconnected

looks like a total scam. They registered their web address through http://www.domainsbyproxy.com/ which allows the scammer to hide their identity. I'd contact the police in the city that you sent the money

Steve

EDIT: I saw this on the domains by proxy site. Maybe you can find out who it is that owns the company??

File a complaint at the courthouse. It costs like $50. They send paperwork to the sheriff's office in the county he lives in and they will go to his house and tell him he is being sued. Either he will have to show up in court in your county or he will pay up.

I did it once and got all my money back.
