I removed the hazard and defrost buttons, unscrewed the screws behind then,
poped the the console out, unhooked the metal wire to the heat controle **** but I still can't get the console out! It looks like the the metal wire that I detached is still hooked up to something but I can't seem to find how to get it out.

I need HELP!

 

There are still 2(i think) plugs back there. there's a green one to your left that i'm sure of that you must unplug to get the console out. just peek back there and see if you see any plugs..

Correct. Should be a green plug and a sort of clear/yellowish plug.
If you took the metal wire off from under the dash, then thats all you need for that. Just guide it out when you remove the console to avoid it getting bent.

 

how do you remove the two buttons, hazzaed and defrost?

 

just take a flat screwdriver and pull under the button.
