Hell all,
I have a tdo4h greddy turbo from the civic kit. It was used when i got it and has some miles on it. I am wanting to rebuild it before i bring the car to Germany, and then when i sell it i want it to be in better shape. Where can i get it rebuilt? Isnt there a kit to do it yourself? Is it hard? Any suggestions?

If you ask is it hard you don't need to do it.

 

Even if it is hard, i am very confident i can do it. I was just asking. I am very competent and can easily learn.
I was just getting the feel out for it, i never disected a turbo, so was wondering if there was any tricky parts to it or any shortcuts that would make it easier.

i was under the impression you couldn;t do this yourself unless you had the proper equipment to balance the assembly to the Nth degree. am i wrong?

now another question i see on the 3X page they have an upgraded td04 turbo with a new wheel in it, can you buy just the wheel and have it all reassembled in the greddy tdo4 15g housing? I wouldn't mind a little better top end in the turbo for a decent price.

 

Yeah, I think balancing here is key, and tq specs too, probably.
