EG Sway bar Q
Hey, I'm a noob to the site... but... I have a few Q's.
I have an EG hatch... current suspension mods are as follows
Stock struts
Progress drop springs
Front Upper Strut bar
Front Lower Tie Bar
Rear Upper Strut Bar
Rear Lower Tie Bar
I have 15" Rota Grids with Toyo Proxes Fz4's 205 50 15's.
I've talked to a few people about getting sway bars..... but need some more input.
I'm thinking a 25 front, 22 rear....
I'm getting new struts, and springs, or perhaps a full coilover..... the Tein basic if i go that route.... still havn't made up my mind..
Everyone throw in their two cents on either the coilover, or sway bar..
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
-Chris

definately get the coil-overs first. your stock struts hate you. tein basic isn't worth the money either (soft springs). if you can get the dampers with stiffer springs then go for it.
search this site for a good shock / spring combination, or a good set of coilovers.

19mm for the rear will prolly suite your needs( really depends though).... i have the 14mm and it suites my needs... i mainly do highway driving so its perfect ffor me...
also remember to get the breaks(beaks?) kit so you dont rip your rear subframe up...but if your gonna settle for the 14mm then you dont need it
a full set of coils is definately a plus...

yeah, I wouldnt buy tein basics personally.
I would suggest some coilover sleeves,
koni yellows, and ground control upper strut mounts.
suspension travel is ridiculously important, especially on our eg's, where we start off raked like a freak!

ive got a GSR 24mm front with a ITR 22mm rear. it handles really well.. but understeers when pushed. im going to change it to a 92-95 Civic Si 21mm front and keep the rear 22mm bar. u should try the same setup. get the Beaks mounting kit, prevents or at least helps subframe tearout. i dont think you can use ur rear lower tie bar anyone tho.

or you can run w/o the front. i am currently running the rear 22mm and it handles great. im looking to invest in the ex/si front bar in the future.
