Help! DC5-R Recaros, which rails to fit DC2 integra?
Hi,
I just picked up a mint set of DC5-R recaros w/ sliders and brackets for DC5, but I want to put them in my DC2 integra.
I tried the rails and they don't fit, they are too short. What kind of rails can I get to make them fit? What kind of rails can I get, and where can I get them?
Please if anyone knows, I need to put these seats in my car soon, no space at home.
The DC5 Recaros are bottom mount and 6 bolts per seat, 2 on the top, 1 on the bottom on each side.

Help is greatly appreciated!

Nice seats, i would try swapping the rails, since its alll honda parts they might just work ? i dunno im probably wrong, if not you can always custom fab the mounts to fit a dc chasis. Definately post some pics when the seats are in, ive always wanted to see the DC5R recaros in a DC2!
well, I tried the stock rails, but they are side mount, and these recaros are bottom mount, I don't know how I would get that to work...
I thought about JDM ITR DC2 seat rails, but I don't know if they bolt up the same place as these DC5 ones.
If anyone else knows, please let me know!

Basically any dc2 rails that are made to fit recaro reclinables will fit. Of course that includes the jdm itr rails, like SuperTwins has mentioned.
I have a jdm itr right side rail if you are interested.

Ok, but I need a pair of JDM ITR rails for both of my seats, do they come with seatbelts? I need the brackets and sliders, cause I don't know if I can use the ones from the DC5-R that came with the seats.
Thanks!
Thanks!

SRD and JDM ITR Recaros will bolt up basically the same way. see if you can get some Recaro rails made for the SRD or JDM itr seat. then use some wedge engineering brackets for a dc2 to connect the recaro rails to the chassis.
another route to go would be to use some dc2 JDM rails from the dc2 JDM itr recaros.
I'm guessing here, but I imagine the seat bolt pattern on the bottom of the dc5 recaros are the same as the SRD or dc2 JDM itr recaros, in which case you can use the same brackets and rails from the dc2 recaros.

You should check the classifieds. I have seen sets in there before. They usually sell for 175-250 for the pair
Also....just some tips about the seats. If you don't want the seats to wrinkle then don't let anyone sit directly on the bolster. Tell people to sit only on the mesh part. People tend to squash the bolster when getting into the car which creates wrinkles, which will never come out and make the seats ugly. You have to actually practice getting into the seat without sitting on it.
I used to always use my left hand and stabilize myself with the side step area and then plant myself in the seat.
Girls especially were the ones that fucked up my seats. They always wanted to sit with their legs out of the door while parked and that will **** up the seats.
Also when parking in the sun, use a sunshade to cover both seats so the sun doesn't hit them. The red will fade quickly if you don't do it.
And lastly don't smoke or let any body smoke near them. Alcantara and the mesh is very sensitive to burning ash, it will melt.
If you are as **** as me, then you'll want to keep the seats looking brand new. If you don't follow the advice they'll be fucked up looking within 6 months.

thanks, for the Advice, Don't worry, when it comes to $1500 Recaro seats, I may be even more **** about them than you.
hehe....
Thanks for the advice though, yeah, they do seem like they can get f-cked up pretty easily if proper care wasn't taken.
