I bought a engine!
I bough a b16 Sir 1 for $500(with Axles!/fly wheel). I loaded everything up in the back of my CX. It comes with a oil pressure sending unit and a aftermarket racing pully ($250)
everything is included but a tranny/shift linkage/mounts. Im currently looking for a tranny, something that is short. Im thinking about a GSR one .
What is a good tranny for a b16?(might boost down the road)
Also, Since the engine is out What should I replace on it? Should I do a light build on it? Apr Bolts/CTR internals?

rebuild the bottomend and boost it. My buddy just boosted his b16a1 w/ a complely custom kit that only cost him around $230 to make. He used a 16g and everything was completly gettoh, lol but **** it, its VERY fast. He's runnign 10psi

Dont get a GSR tranny. I have one on my B16A. It's not short enough. For a b16, it needs either a B16 tranny or ITR/CTR tranny. Longer gearing sucks when you have no torque. Whether you're turbocharged or not, stick with the shorter gearing. Shorter gearing is quicker acceleration.
