before you go buying air horns, you need to figure out the problem. It sounds like an electrical prob. I'd try disconnecting the horns from the wiring, then running voltage to them directly to make sure they work. If those are fine ( most likely they are) then use a multimeter to test for voltage in the wires when someone else presses the horn button. If you get intermittent voltage you get to have the fun of tracing it back to the horn switch in the steering wheel. Could be the switch is just old and corroded and needs to be cleaned up.

I would say the first and easiest thing to do is to pull off your steering wheel and look to see if the wire under there is loose/partially disconnected.

either what vince said, or pull off the front bumper and make sure the connections are fine down there, i've had those wires corrode on me before, but I didnt find out till the bumper was off, i just touched the wire and it broke right off... I was wondering why only one horn would work, lol, so before u go buying air horns, have a look at your wiring. after you fix the wiring, then you can buy the air horns

Sounds like you have a problem with wires somewhere, once you figure it out ..

i bought these Hella Supertones from Griots for my CRX - they are crazy loud. I initially installed them just replacing the stock ones and they were ok but i just re-hooked it up using the relay that comes with them and getting power from the battery direct and YOW .. loudness to scare off the most cracked of crack heads 118dB .. around $70 buxes.
