Default Head unit fried?

Im installing an after market head unit in my car.. I have to keep the old head unit in the car because of my keyless entry so I went to circuit city to buy the harness that has the spliter to connect both the new and old radio. When I pluged in the old radio to the harness it doesnt turn on. I used a tester light and the wires are hot so I think its a problem with the old radio. It worked just fine yesterday. Is there a fuse in the old radio that I could have blown, I hope I didnt fry the old unit, I dont know how I could of though.

Could be problems in the wiring or the new split harness. I would put the old headunit back in with the stock harness and see if it still works. If not, you may have wired it wrong and fried the headunit. One more suggestion, stop making titles like "HELP!". No one here cares to even look at anything like that. The thread title is supossed to give the viewer a basic idea of what the thread is about.

There fixed it just for you. Nope its not the wiring, It doesnt work using the original wires, I have never tried to hook it up to the harness till now.

Check all your fuses like Jun said and if none of them are blown then you fried it.
