Adding Harness bar to bolt in roll cage
I woud still like to know..but instead I am just goin to buy the harness bar from autopower.... I just found out I could..
I am planning on welding on a harness bar to the 4pt auotpower race roll cage..
like this one
Any negative to welding in two peices straight across between the main hoops joining it to the diaganal bar?
instead of putting two 90 deg. bends on the ends of one piece, and welding to the main hoop?

not really, only thing is the harness bar will be really close to the back of the seat. My harness goes to side bar to side bar and has 2 slight bends at each end which brings it back a little further to the back of the car.
Put your seat in a comfortable position and make sure the bar won't interfere with the seat, if it works I think the stress in an accident will be distributed through the same paths, so it should be okay.
