Question on Suspension
I dropped my 94 accord 1.8 (eibach sportline) to the ground. I am using tokico blues in the front. The rear still has the same factory shocks. My handing is terriable. My front end bounces after I hit a dip on the road. What can I do to get this suspension stiffer? I cut the bump stops down to have could this be the problem? Should I have left the bumpstops at full lenth. I want a stiffer and tite ride. Any ideas?

First... get tokiko for the rears to even the ride out. Then test it out. What kinda bounce are we talking about here? What im thinking is that you're getting a stiff bounce... Which is what you want... Right? Stiff shocks tend to feel every knick and knack in the road... Thats the bad side of a good stiff shock, but then again you get to eat up turns... Up to you what you want... Toikiko blues tend to be a bit stiffer than OEM... My friend has them on his DA and they ride stiff...

My ride isn't stiff at all. It is very comfortable and smooth, but when I hit a dip it drops to low and the middle bar underneath the front hits the ground. As I go around a turn it handles good, but if there is a dip on the road during the turn, It will bottom out. I will change the shocks in the back, but I don't see what this bounces like the way it does. I know how a stiff bounce feels this isn't that kind of bounce.
Your're riding on sportlines too? How many of a finger gap is that? It sounds like you're bottoming out too much/ car is too low... But it does sound weird for sport springs... You shoudn't bottom out at all with those. But i could be wrong. What year accord is yours? Do you have a camber kit installed? Cause I had the same problem with mine b4 with my camber kit pushing my control arm out too far and not having enough room for bounce...Oh yea take out the front shocks and check if they're blown... If worse comes to worse the fronts are blown and you need new ones as well. Godd luck
I just put the shocks on . I had neuspeed greens on before 1.8 as well, but the sportlines dropped lower. 2 fingers. I do have the camber kit in the front, but I didn't get an alignment after installing the new springs. I also put lower profile tires in the front. 205 55 15 the rear is 205 60 15.

Yea the camber kit might be your problem. Get it aligned and i suggest get shocks for the rear we well... Cause yea you might be able to take harder turns, but then the *** of your car will break loose with regular shocks/softness. Putting some tokikos in the rear should improve your cars handling. Well if im guessing correctly, your camber kit is pushing your control arm out too far and it doesnt have space to work with... Get it aligned and have them punch out the inner fender wall, so theres more space for the suspension to bounce

I have had the camber kit align with the nuespeeds. The wheels look fine and the tires are not wearing unevenly like it did before I got the camber kit put on. I want to put the proper tires in the front.
