Rear Bump Stop Question? (Kyb Agx Shocks)
I didnt cut the bump stop that came with the shocks for the back and i wish i would have... the car is already aligned.... would it effect the alignment if i take the whole shock assembly out cause i dont want to cut the bump stop while its on the shock.

Most likely it will to a small degree. You might call the alignment place to see if they will re-check the alignment for free because you think the suspension may have settled. I think some shop will do this if it's within a month or so.

It will affect it to some degree if you're using a jack and jack stands. If you have access to a lift you should have no problems.

how can you throw off the alignment if your not adjusting ride height, or the toe adjustment itself? what else can be moved in the rear suspension?

Re: Rear Bump Stop Question? (z6 coupe)
The only way I can see it could possibly affect your alignment is if you loosen any susp bushing bolts during the process and tighten them again after they have rotated a little (different orientation). Still, this is pretty much negligible so I would say your alignment should be fine.

I was in this situation with my rear agx. I jacked up the rear of my car and tried cutting half of the bump stop off, but those things are thick. I just left it since I wasn't hitting them anyway

If he's using pre-loaded shocks(just springs, opposed to adjustable coilovers) he would have to loosen some of the suspension bushings for both removal and re-installation.

but those bolt right back up to the same exact position, if were talking about the upper rear control arm.

Re: Rear Bump Stop Question? (Slammed Ek9)
I dont see how, theres practicly nothing to adjust on the rear end of a honda. When they do alignments they have to put shims in the back to move things around. so I dont see how you can move anything. If in doubt mark everything and put it back the same way.
