i i have an 89 civic both it for 700 bucks and need a little more horsepower i am limitted with funds so i would like to know whats the best thing i can do to the engine to help out my performance thanks

 

zc's are not the stock engine. A cold air intake would be the cheapest but a good cat-back exhaust would be the best place to start

nothing really. You cant swap it out for anything (I've heard somewhere you can swap it out for a b series if you re drill the b series flange or something like that but cant confirm it) bang for your buck would be a zex kit they are about 400$ but its better than doing little **** that doesn't do anything. How much you have to spend?

whats the engine code for your motor (located 1 foot below and to the right of the distributer.)?
