well i could of swore i read a thread once on here that involved the correct adjustment for a cable clutch setup but i could not find it......... anyways heres my problem

Im runnin an ACT street setup and i remember when it would engage with the clutch pedal very low to the floor.......... lately ive noticed its lost some of that quick engagment........ i popped the hood to adjust it and i thought the way to tighten it (quicken the engagement) would work but it only made the pedal engagement farther out......... its like a dump truck........

i adjusted the clutch by turning the **** the other way which made the clutch engagement point back to normal but i noticed a shitload of slop in the clutch cable........ is there a way to tighten the slack up soo it doesnt loosen back up on me again?? any help would be awesome guys!

 

I have this problem too, ever since i put in my Exedy organic stage 2 in. Its loose, but its held for the last 5 months so i just left it.

i had the same problem with the stock clutch...i just kept on adjustin it back and forth..even the slightest and minamal turn makes a difference..u might have to get a new clutch cable if it keeps on looseing up..

 

hmmmmm........ theres gotta be a way to tighten up the slack......... im gonna check my haynes manual that usually doesnt show ****
