Default GE vtec oil return kit

i have been reading, but i cant seem to understand, in what way does the GE oil return kit make putting a vtec head on a non vtec block easier, i dont understand how it works. i still have to tap the head. but does that mean i dont have to run a line from the block to the head if i have this. maybe im just getting confused. but i can sure use someone to explain it better..if anyone has any pictures of where it goes, it might help a lot.... thanks

Yeah, this allows you to get oil from the filter location instead of the oil pressure sensor. Abit less work

You still tap the head, you dont need to go directly into the block with this kit. Just to the unit. And with this kit your gettin Filtered oil to the head which is also a plus.

Il be using it, in my setup

so basically i do not need that fat 75 buck steel braided oil line to run from the block to the head, all i do is screw the thing into where the filter is and run a line to the head?

u still need the braided line to get the oil from the block to the head. U just dont need to tee off the block.

the main reason its an awsome piece is 1 you get the filtered oil and 2 theres most likely thousands of people that have had fittings break off in the oil pressure sensor hole. and it has a oil pressure hole on the side of it for a aftermarket oil pressure gauge.
