D1.6 non-vtec head swap?

Default D1.6 non-vtec head swap?

Anything special I should know about swapping a non-vtec head for a vtec head on a d16?

which D16? A6 your looking at like 10.5:1 comp ratio, i've seen 128hp with one on a rebuilt A6 block. Personally i'm not doing a vtec swap on my N/A build because... well just because

it sounds like you mean putting a non-vtec head on a vtec motor. if i'm not mistaken, that should lower your compression slightly. totally do-able though

Other way around. Vtec head on non-vtec motor. I have a LX with D16Y7 motor, I want to put a vtec head on it from a EX (D16Y8 motor)

gotcha. lots of folks call that the mini-me swap, and its supposedly pretty sweet. i might end up doing that with my winter beater one of these days

im in the process and what all is needed i got the head and i hear you have to get a new head gasket and ecu and all sorts of stuff, kinda need help too
