Default Sorta like a Si conversion....

I am interested in the OEM sport wing (the big factory one with LED) as well as other exterior parts (sideskirts and front lip) from the Si (99-00). I have a 2k civic EX that I wish to add that exact stuff to. I was planning on repainting them white to match my car of course. Is it possible for me to use the sideskirts and bumper lips from the Si (kinda like a Si conversion)?

great! I have found some decent deals on eBay, but is there anywhere else to look for these specific parts? What should I pay for these kinda parts used or new?

I don't know what a good price is, but sometimes people are selling that stuff in the classifieds here. Aren't the sideskirts the same as the Si on the other Civics in that generation?

Mine is that black plastic (EX). I think the Si is metal because they are color matched to the body, and I don't think you could paint this plastic crap like I have. But, I could be wrong.

Someone correct me if I'am wrong but the sideskirts on 99-00 si's are plastic just painted to match the color of the car.. if that helps you any

So, all I really need to be looking for is the sport wing spoiler w/ LED, front and rear Si bumper lips. Then, I could get my sideskirts painted the same time I get this other stuff painted and fitted at some body shop. Cool! Thanks!

you need the si grill aswell if you trying to make the body look exactly like an si... Si's dont come stock with a back lip..

here are a few other things you could do to make it more like an si

Si seats or just get open head rest
rear disk conversion
si Cluster
si heater control and Cruise button(light up amber)
Shift ****
strut bar
Si stocks
And of course DOHC VTEC!

Probably missed a couple of other differences but thats the majority of them

Geez, with all that stuff, just sell the Ex and go down payment for an 99 Si, at least you will have the real thing.

Yeah, get the Grille if you want it to look like an si. As for the other things, you can make your own lighting amber for less than 5 bucks, don't waste money on the headrests, or shift ****. I would pick up the SI strut bar and the rear disks though!

dont get the wing. i think the 00 civic coupes looks better wingless. thats just my opinion though. i converted the looks from ex to si on my vsm coupe. i got the wing from the dealer when i got the car. i want to take off that wing.

Yeah the 1999 - 2000 Honda Civic Si/SiR came with an optional rear lip, which is probley extremely rare now as it has been discontinued to my knowledge, and haven't seen anyone with it.

Wings impair your visibilty, and you're car is not fast enough to require downforce.

Exacty. He obviously likes the look of the stock wing. Everybody knows it's cosmetic. I don't know why people are trying to talk him out of it. At least he wants a STOCK wing for crying out loud, give him props for that.

I don't think he's looking for a full Si conversion, he just wants to color match some of his non painted pieces and add a wing. People on this board go so crazy assuming someone's intentions. All he has to do is buy a wing, get it painted and intalled and have a body shop paint his non-painted pieces. There, done.

Also, it (the wing) does not impare visibility.
