which seats for comfort first, and handling second?
in december i'm driving across country, and the stock seats have to go! This is my daily driver, and i really like comfy seats. I like leather too, but don't have to have it. BTW i have a red hatch with black vinyl. basically my options are this.
1. GSR leathers (black)
2. DEL SOL red stripes
3. GSR cloth seats
4. Fake type-r seats off of ebay.
My first choice would be the leathers, BUT my problem is that i have never sat in any of these seats, and i want to make the right choice. This is my daily driver, but i will be auto-xing occasionally and whipping around turns a lot.

I used to have Del Sols in my car for about 3 years, they were really comfortable, supportive, and sat lower than the stockers
IMO I couldn't stand the GSR leathers. I had a GSR and after 1+ hour drives they were uncomfortable. I have Del Sol's and love em. Plus, I think you can get Del Sol's for the cheapest of the bunch.

del sols are the way to go... they sit lower, hug you better, 100X for confortable for me.

get a set of the Hayame Racing seats in leather, they are very very commfy. I have gone from Fl to CT a few times and Other then making you soo commfy it makes you tired, they are the best. IMO they are better then the Torinos, which are un padded..!!!
Here is a crazy idea..find some HT members in your area that have these seats and go pick one out for yourself. We can tell you all day long what it is we like, but unless you go sit in them, there is no way for you to know.
i have black s2000 seats in my hatch. they sit super low. i love them, and so does everyone who gets in my car. i got mine from a friend for $400...expect to pay $1000-$3000 depending on quality or legit-imality..(is that a word?)

I see nothing wrong with option 4. But factor the cost of brackets into that equation.
CRX SI seats are made by recaro, but I have yet to see any without the drivers side bolster ripped up
