Default EK brakes?

I was wondering when you change the EK brakes to GS-R brakes do you need to change the whole axle? if not.. then what do you change?..... also how much would that job cost??

you dont need to change the axle.

you need the front spindles(knuckles), calipers, rotors, and probably some brake lines.

Front brake setup used should be 150-200 for parts. Cheaper if you shop around or catch a good deal.

Labor... my guess is at least $200-300 from any competent shop if you are going that route. But I am sure you can find many HT members local to you that would be willing to do it for a case of beer or a date with your sister if you truely dont feel comforatable doing it yourself.

If you have an EX you only need the front calipers. The rotors are the same.

I believe the piston on the caliper is about 1mm bigger on the GSR...
