Going to put on some cheap-ass Auto-Value rotors; expect trouble?
Hey all. It's time to replace my warped rotors (left it too long...rrrghhh). From searching on here I see that a few people have used the cheaper "Made in China" or "Auto-Zone" rotors with Hawk pads and had good experiences with them. The car is strictly a driver so it won't see much hard use.
I'm just being cautious here and double checking that I've got my facts straight before I get myself into a mess. Let me know if I'm asking for trouble, please.
Thanks all!
Greg

nah you should be fine. dont some of them have lifetime warranty too?
Thanks for the replies, guys
I don't recall if the ones I got have the lifetime warranty or not; seems to me these ones in particular didn't. (This is Canadian Auto-Value so the service levels may be different when it comes to stuff like that).
I think I warped mine by driving through puddles. Feel kind of dumb for it now but it was fun at the time. I plan on taking it easy on them in any case
(as a side note; I found out that my buddy has never had the brakes replaced on his Del Sol and he has 90k - 100k miles on it!! How the hell is he doing that!?!?)
Thanks again!
