Default OBD 1 ECU for hondata question

I found a P74 for under $100 from a salvage yard, and was told it ran the car, but I'm not sure of what kind of conditions it is in. Would this one be good enough to run my 98 ls with a hondata or should I be looking for another?

Thanks Ef.

I am a little concerned about buying from a salvage yard out of state. If the ecu is damage somehow is it pretty much trash or will I still be able to send it out and get it chipped?

why don't you buy one from someone on HT with a good rep. so you can be closer to being sure about what condition its in. Seems like you have no way of knowing that it will work - I would spend my money elsewhere

You rang?

Also, you're going to need a conversion harness.
