Aim low, boys. They're ridin' Shetland ponies!
...or in this case short cars.
From the Nov. 01/02 Summit Point event schedule:
Race Group 1--SM, SMC, PS1,PS2,PS3, SRX7, HC1-5, Lgds, TR, RSR, SU2, SU3.
I understand the the short days require this so we can finish in daylight. Just wanted to remind everyone to set their mirrors a little lower.

Just be thankful you are not racing a legends car. Think how they must feel. It is like being in a smash up derby with Semi's and you are using a yugo (that is for you RJ
).
).
I'd rather be in the Legends car than the sedan if given the choice. The LEG has no weight and should just bounce off (and seemingly have the caging to do so). In the sedan, a.) I can't see them and b.) I catch a tire I am going up in the air. As much as I dislike running w/ SRFs, I think I'd like this less-so. Just personal opinion.

And I just wanted to remind everyone that most of them clown cars don't have mirrors.
I know of one guy who punted one last year it wasn't pretty for either car. Frankly, me thinks we ought to be talking to the powers that be on this one.
Perhaps we can run w/ some Formula Atlantics next year.

And they are all over the place in the corners because of the hard compound tires they run. They are extremely unpredictable.

No room for a bell, sorry. But plenty for streamers and the basket!

I shared the track with the Legends cars at the MWHC race at BeaveRun. There was one is particular who not only made me brake on the back straight TWICE because he cut across my path as I was LAPPING him, but also cut in front of me in the braking zone and then slammed on the brakes to keep me from passing him on the inside. In four years of wheel to wheel racing I had never thought of intentionally punting a car until that moment.
Matt (who is really hoping that guy doesn't show up, and will warn the ECHC drivers which car number it is at our driver's meeting)

Good googa mooga, I do NOT look forward to gridding this group up.
Matt - who will defer any and all complaints about racer's spot on grid to T&S
