Default What is Rice?

Just out of curiosity I was wondering what many of you consider to be rice. overly large exahust pipes, stickers for stuff you dont have, neon lights? How come nobody flames for sparko seats that dont match the interior of your car, cars that pry off there hub caps to show of their steelies, or people that gut their 117 hp daily driver so much that their girlfriends are forced to sit on an old 5 gallon paint bucket on the passanger side. To me thats rice......

honestly, to give you a serious reply... I think rice is anything import. My definition is anything in the import scene. A civic with an h22 in it, to me, it's called rice. Now, the tards who put GT-R emblems on their Maxima's or the tards who think VTEC is some special power that honda's have so that they're faster than everything else, they ruin the rice scene... They gave rice a bad name, and now rice is seen as the horrible side of the import scene. Back in the early day (for me, pre FnF) rice was the nice imports cruisin down the road with a body kit (painted of course) with a decal list of mods down the side front quarter panel or door. Those were the nice rice cars.

Basically, rice to me is anything import, not implying that it's all bad, but that the bad side has ruined the name, and now we can't exactly refer to it all as rice anymore Oh well, I'm on crack, and shouldn't this be in the general discussion, not appearance? (post *****... )

Rice is an overused word that has no true definition anymore other than as a food that you eat.

omg. that's exaclty how i feel! I always debate with other people telling them how rice was once 'good' but now it has gotten this negative connotation. to me, rice will always be a sweet car, whether it's clean or has a bodykit. something that's different, but still shows the owner's pride..

3 letters that will make me call something rice....APC. or for example. we have a Mustang GT here. with Dual DTM tipped exhaust that sticks out toodamn far. a veilside wanna be body kit. APC wing, Type R in the Back window, Jap Letters all over the windows, and a **** load of NOS stickers that looks like it came from when u bought F&F. Now that would be rice. well in his case domestic Rice
