about to get one for a really good price and want to know how to make sure its real. its got a funky "jdm" color going on but want to make sure. I believe real recaros have recaro stamped in the side where the seats folds. what else to look for? oh an upclose pics would be great. TIA

I just picked up a set of recaro srds in all black. I never noticed the recaro on the side... But ill check... Have you ever sat in one? I sat in knockoffs b4 by tenzo r and stuff... Those things dont even hold you in. SRDs tend to be very well padded... They hold your legs and your back in very well... Basically no sliding... The fake ones made by tenzo made me slide all over the place. My stock seats held me in better. But yea ill check on those side handles


Edit: I checked the side adjusters... Mine says Keiper Recaro real small on the bottom of the plastic frame. The ITR red recaro emblems are way way bigger than the standard SRDs

I already knew about the side adjust having the recaro there. I wanted to know if there was anything else just to make sure. thanks for all the replies. I will post up some pics tonight of these mad crazy jdm seats.

 

i heard the real recaros foam isnt flamable.. but i dont think u would want to try to set the seats on fire....
