Are All T3 and/or T04E Turbos the same whether they are made bu Garrett or Turbonetics?
Hey,
Are they the same dimensions wise? I mean i know the T3 Turbine, whether its Garrett or Turbonetics, has the same flange bolt pattern, and downpipe bolt pattern. Would I be able to bolt a Turbonetics housing and backing plate to my garrett center section?

it should as long as it was designed for the same trim wheel i think. my friend had a turbo just the other day... had a garrett compressor housing and a turbonetics turbine housing (both housings clearly stamped). so my guess is it should work

That's my turbo. Garrett compressor, Crap-o-netics turbine.

interesting.. thanks!
Now my next question.. are all housings created the same? I mean If i get my hands on a T04E housing, and purchase a 50 trim wheel, will it fit? Does the housing have to match the trim?
