I have a 92 vigor, for some reason it is not staying on. I can crank it but then it just dies. When the key is in the ON position none of the lights are one, the radio is not on either. I checked the fuse but it looks OK. Any idea of what it could be. I just started today and cuts off in the middle of driving.

Ignition switch maybe?

 

Its a common problem on the Vigor. You get no power when you turn the key in the IGN I and IGN II position. However the car starts. Since you are not getting power to the IGN II position the car does not remain running.

It happened to my Vigor. Your ignition switch is bad. Its about $80 in parts and can be fixed pretty easily.

Or you can do what I did. I used a 3 dollar relay and fix the problem. Where are you located?

Well it was the ignition harness,
I got my hands on one for $40 bucks.
replaced it and it started up great,
