what did I do...?
I was hooking up my new Proform Shift Light. Here's what I did...
1)hooked up red wire to the positive Batt. terminal
2)hooked up black wire to the negative Batt. terminal
3)hooked up the tach wire to the blue wire out of the Distributor.
4) I tried to turn on the car but it's completely DEAD.
Did I screw up my Distributor..? Any help would be appreciated.

Do any of the lights come on at all ? Does it try to crank at all ? What do you mean by dead ? If nothing happens, its the battery or a fuse. Check all the fuses and make sure none of them blew.
