Default Engine Stands

A 1250lb engine stand ought to be more than plenty for a B18C, right?

750lb'er is all you need. Altho, I like the ones with 4 legs instead of 3. Just another tip-over precaution. That feature is common to all 1000lb engine stands, but only a couple of 750lb engine stands that I've seen.

I just got mine in from Harbor Freight. I think I paid $39.99 with free shipping since I ordered $50+ of stuff.

Hell ya. Unless you've got planned for building a blown big block in your future, you don't even need that much!

Yeah, that's what I figured, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

I put my complete 460 big block on a 1250 four post stand and it held fine. I think a complete b16 is like 350-400 pounds? I forget.
