man, you asked for it...
1. i'm gonna be nice to you. there's not "H" in VTEC.
2. take a look at your valve cover. does it say VTEC? if not, then that's why. if so, take it back and don't leave until whoever swapped it for you fixes it. and if they don't, smack them with your VTech and say fix it!!

True. Pannasonic is good too, especially the 2.4 Ghz.
To your answer though. Does your vss work? Does the speedomoter work? If they don't you will have problems engaging the VTEC.

hmmm...if you were in a hurry...then it would lead me to think that spelling VTEC properly would actually take less time to spell, then spelling it VTECH.
BTW, i have a GE 2.4ghz phone, and it sucks ***. i also have panasonic 5.8ghz phone system downstairs, and its really good. doesn't interfere with 802.11b network.

to your question...
have you checked the wiring?
is your oil pressure up to snuff? VTEC will not engage without it.
are you running the right ECU? P13,P72,P28,P5M
there's so many options. can you narrow it down?

wiring is right, ecu is right.....maybe need new solenoid? i cleaned it out, but didn't help.........i have another problem now too.....it doesn't idol.
if i'm not in gear or on the gas it dies. replaced fuel filter, didn't help.
someone told me its the iac, and to keep cleaning it out w/ carborator cleaner or wd-40 and eventually it will be fine...and on the vtec, i was told i just need to do some pluming, how would i go about that? or does this guy even have a clue?

I could have sworn there was a spell-checker on this thing...

Check the oil lines. Also, check all the standard connections (wires, etc.). The ecu could very well be whats wrong. Like someone else said there are a lot of possibilities. Just start troubleshooting.
