I don't know about the aftermarket Civic kits, but the HID's on my s2k were awesome. Night driving is just totally different.

I've never run into an incident when HID's on cars annoyed me, and I seriously think they prevented a lot of fatigue by being able to see everything in front of me with little effort. If the aftermarket kits do not cut off the light though then I could definitely see it being annoying.

I agree. Hid's arn't as annoying as a raised truck behind me. Shining straight into my car and blinding me.

typical fucktard who has never had nor been in a car with HID's.. When they are done correctly they do not blind ANYTHING. Trucks and SUV's are what blind everyone..

They definetly help and the problem with the jacked up trucks (and most other SUVs) is definetly much worse than HID's. I'll sign that petition

I have not heard or read about HIDs being in trouble. Are they going to remove them from the market? If so what about all the people and manufactures that already have them installed? How are they going to get new parts/bulbs? This is odd. I do think its better to see when you drive at night. Plus I think most people are getting annoyed at the HID STYLE bulbs that everyone purchases.

Is this actually going to do anything in our favor? I mean, it seems like just about everyone has pulled their HID stocks and now company like Catz are recalling their units. I want HID's but trying to find them is a bitch and now because they are so much rarer, it gives people an excuse to jack up the prices on the ones that they do have.
