Default Fuel management question for '00 Si

My friend has a '99 Civic Si w/ JE Pistons 10:1, Eagle Rods, Competition Cams Stage 2, Competition retainers/springs/valves, and a ported and polished intake manifold. Apparently he bored out the block too. I don't know how much but I just called the machine shop and they said they did. He was going to get back me with the specs. He also has DC 4-2-1 Headers, AEM CAI V2, Random Cat, DC Twin Canister Exhaust, ACT HDSS and ACT Streetlite flywheel. Will these mods will he need any fuel management units? Or can he jsut get a VAFC and tune the stock injectors?

Is he going n/a or turbo? Didn't si's come with 10.2:1 compression? Why did he lower the compression if he is going n/a?

Mabey this shop didn't understand Honda's, I mean how many people actually bore a Honda block? Sounds like your friend has a lot more money to spend on his engine than most of us do, so on that note go with a Hondata. With all the mods he has done, you shouldn't skimp out now. Sounds like a Si that with high boost, could pull some 12s on street tires no prob.

He is an older guy who has plenty of money. But does he even need the fuel? The machine shop said he doesn't but I want to confirm that.

put it on a dyno and see what the air/fuel ratio is...that will tell you if he needs fuel....im pretty shure with crane stage 2 cams and port and polished head im pretty shure some more fuel wouldnt hurt. Some more compression would help to push those cams. 11.5:1 would be nice. im pretty shure he would benifit from a piggy back system or stand alone...hondate would be nice or vacf with cam gears.

My first choice would be Hondata

My second choice would be a Vafc2

either or bring them to the dyno
