Default What kind of motor do I have?

Hey, with all these f22, h##, etc., I just want to know what the designation is for the motor in a 97 EX sedan (4 cylinder VTEC). Thanx.

Any simple, low-to-no cost mods I can do to improve power/efficiency? I'v already done the spark plug, oil change, xmission fluid changes.

OK, something a bit cheaper than, say, boring out the block and adding ovesized pistons?...

^we'll there are free mods ie:remove intake resonator, gut the cat, cut or heat up your springs and do the TB coolant bypass just to name a few. so i would say no it's not an oxymoron, but some of the free or low cost mods are certainly done by morons.

removing weight doesn't cost anything, unless you don't have a sawzall, then it'll cost about $70 for one of those...

Yep, you can beat all the bolt-on mods just by doing a serious weight reduction job.
