suspension question, anyone ever heard this?

that is by far the worst spring you can pair with koni yellow.
common knowledge: soft spring + stiff shock = garbage suspension, and more likely the shock will bottom out and eventually leak

I've only ever heard (and experienced) good things about the koni yellow/prokit combo. I also very highly doubt the soft spring/stiff shock combo being easy to bottom out, since the job of the shock is to control the spring.

pro kits aare NOT soft
spring rates are appr 331 lb/in in front and 226 in the rear.
as a comparison the suspension techniques speedtech springs for accords at 250 in front and 180 in the rear.
the pro kit is a minimal drorp performance spring, not a soft looks spring.
also consider thata a wrx has a soft spting and firm shock and lots of travel....

whoever you quoted is talkin out of his ***, what would hurt your suspension and kill the shocks is a really stiff spring, that's why most autox guys running stiff springs (400+ lb.) have to get their shocks revalved.
