Default junkyard turbo crvtec crx

is it worth it to make a crv vtec(b17 head) if i leave the internals stock?
i am also wondering what kind of numbers a stock crv vtec with a junkyard turbo(w/low boost 6-8psi) would have? and is it even worth it?
all of this would be going into my 88 crx si.
i have a choice of two traniess y1 w/lsd or ys1 no lsd and grinds third.
just looking for some opinons. thanks curt

I'd clay it fist. Thoes valves will probably colide without grinding the valve reliefs.

it is definitely worth the mad torque. It depends on what B20 you put in as far as the valve clearance. I loved mine even before I built up the block. Definitely put the $300-400 into a fluidyne radiator though, u need the extra cooling. I blew a head gasket after a coolant line blew on the stock block and radiator.
