i need a new lighter assembly, and they cost $30 for the thing at my dealership, ive got a DC2 console lying around, can i use the lighter out of that one?

 

yes sure why not??? take apart the current one out of the teg and replace it in the civic.. little help if the plugs dont fit correctly but im almost positive they will.. the spade looking terminal on the outside is the ground or black wire, and the other connector is the postive 12volts wire.. should make it easier when replacing it..
